THE BLOOD

God's redemption plan for man is a tremendously rich package. In examining the salvation package, i have come to conclude that God was certainly extravagant in its provision. The totality of the package is what i call a "spoiler." There is no single blessing of life that is not included in that plan.

Many people see the salvation arrangement as forgiveness of sins only, but the Bible tells us that it is forgiveness of sins, plus an inheritance.

Acts 26:18 "To open their eyes and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of sin unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and Inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Me"
(Check Ephesians 1:3 too)

All blessings are included in the redemption package. All blessings exist first in the spiritual and through faith translated into the physical.
As the redemption package is rich, so is it also expensive. The redemption plan is the most expensive operation ever undertaken in time and will remain so through eternity. The price was BLOOD.

Ephesian 1:7 "In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace"
(Check 1 Peter 1:18,19)

The Bible makes it clear that Blood is actually life(Genesis 9:4). Which means the life of the flesh is Blood (Leviticus 17:11 "For life of the flesh is in the blood....")

All redemptive processes from Adam till date has involved blood. Blood is a very important, sacred and most valuable thing both to GOD and among men.
Redemption has always been a bloody affair. The good news of salvation is a BLOODY, BLOODY GOSPEL!!
